Color sorter, also known as color sorter or optical sorter, uses high-resolution CCD optical sensor to drive solenoid valve to sort different solid materials according to the color difference of solid materials. The optical color sorter is a non-destructive sorting equipment used for quality inspection and grading of bulk materials, which has been widely used in many industries around the world. Such as agricultural products, food and recycling industries. The sorting effect is very remarkable, such as plastic flakes, plastic particles, corn, various beans, various rice, ore, pepper, pepper, garlic, melon seeds, raisins, seeds, traditional Chinese medicine, shrimp, clove fish, glass, metal, Salt and ores, etc.
Color sorter is a device that uses photoelectric detection technology to automatically separate particles of different colors in granular materials according to the different optical properties of materials. The color sorter is mainly composed of a feeding system, an optical detection system, a signal processing system, and a separation execution system.

The color sorter has a wide range of applications in the grain, food, pigment chemical industry and other industries. It is difficult to sort recycled plastic flakes, corn, various beans, ores, peppers, raisins, seeds, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.

The workflow of the color sorter
1. The material enters the machine from the top hopper, and through the vibration of the feeding device (vibrator), the selected material will fall along the feeding and distributing trough.
2. The material passes through the upper end of the rice road, and then slides down the rice road at an accelerated rate into the sorting box
3. After entering the sorting box, it passes between the image processing sensor CCD and the background device. Under the action of the light source, the CCD receives the synthesized light signal from the selected material, so that the system generates an output signal, which is amplified and transmitted to the FPGA +ARM computing processing system, and then the control system sends out instructions to drive the injection solenoid valve to blow the different-colored particles into the waste cavity of the discharge hopper to flow away.
4. The good selected materials continue to fall to the finished product cavity of the hopper and flow out, so that the selected materials can achieve the purpose of selection.
